Enphase Energy Named Fastest-Growing Company inverter

Enphase Energy, the leader in solar inverter micro systems, shipped its 100 000 th unit in September 2009, reaching this remarkable milestone just over a year after the product's launch in July 2008. The company was also recognized by GreenTech Media as the fastest-growing solar inverter company in the U.S. in a recent report.
Enphase Micro Inverter systems convert the DC output of a single solar module into grid-compliant AC power. Enphase systems offer a number of advantages over traditional central inverters including a five to 25 percent increase in energy harvest, increased system reliability and a simpler - and safer - installation. Enphase also removes design constraints because modules can now be installed in any combination of type, age, and location. In addition, a proprietary communication technology is embedded into each micro inverter enabling continuous, remote, per-module monitoring to identify any problems quickly and maximize energy production.

One key reason the Enphase Micro Inverter has such a high adoption rate is due to the simplicity of installation. Installers can train new staff members much more quickly with micro inverter technology compared to traditional inverters, enabling them to improve their time-to-productivity.

Suntech sells Enphase Micro-inverters on its U.S. dealer network

Suntech America, Inc. (San Francisco, California), a subsidiary of the Chinese PV manufacturer Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd.. (Wuxi, China), reported on 02/03/2009. They will offer growing American dealer network module inverters Enphase Energy of the U.S. manufacturer, (Enphase Petaluma, California).

The Enphase Micro-inverters are in contrast to central inverters mounted directly to the holders of each solar module, making the cost and time required can be reduced for the installation, it says in the press release. They also increase according to the manufacturer the flexibility regarding the size of the solar power system and the positioning of the modules. Suntech hopes to allow its dealers for faster installations and to create new business areas. Enphase also provides a real-time monitoring system called "Enlighten" on which enables Internet data about the current and overall system performance, detailed information about each solar module and various data analysis. "Enphase Energy has launched a very impressive inverter technology on the market, with the change in the installation of solar power systems will be. We want our authorized dealers are up to date and offer our customers this new technology," said Roger Efird, President of Suntech America.

Order of micro-inverters for 1 megawatt rated power

"Suntech provides solar panels to authorized dealers and customers the highest quality. Enphase is committed to cooperate with the producers of leading technologies and glad that our products the dealer network, Suntech will be made available," said Paul Nahi, CEO of Enphase Energy. Suntech expects to offer micro-inverter in the U.S. with its solar panels and orders its dealer network, standardize reports, the company. According to a press release of the first order for Enphase Micro-inverter has a volume of about one megawatt (MW). Suntech's goal is, solar electricity for a growing number of customers more affordable and easier to access as well as advanced technologies to help ensure that electricity from solar energy to one of the most important forms of energy in the U.S. and globally.
